Linda and Alex were an absolute delight to photograph. Linda, a photographer herself, contacted us a year ago to come down to Los Angeles, and document their intimate Vista Hermosa Park wedding. With a small guest list of 35 people, the romantic affair was just right in size.
The week leading up to the wedding was one rainstorm after another, with a lucky break on Saturday. The park was muddy, full of puddles, but it didn’t stop these two from reciting the sweetest vows to one another. The day started with a small reveal session, where Linda surprised Alex with a camper van for their honeymoon. The couple then met with their families for a traditional tea ceremony, followed by a golden hour ceremony in the park, overlooking Los Angeles. For dinner, Linda and Alex invited their intimate group of friends and family to dinner at Republique. No decor was needed – not even assigned seating. Everyone sat at the long table and enjoyed course after course of delicious food.
This was such a memorable day for us as photographers. We love documenting events that are truly about the couple – no frills, no stress, just two people and their families coming together and celebrating.
