One lovely September day in Toronto, Melinda and Marc exchanged vows at their Thompson Hotel wedding. It was a perfect rooftop wedding – overlooking the city – with cocktail hour wrapping up just as droplets of rain started to fall. These two have classic yet modern taste, and their celebration reflected just that. Melinda’s beautiful strappy lace gown and veil flowed in the wind, and Marc looked so dapper in his three piece suit. We arranged one of our favourite first-looks as well – Joel photographed Melinda approaching Marc from the 12th floor of the hotel, while I (Justyna) documented their reactions. It was private, sentimental and romantic – especially when their little girl ran out joyously to greet her parents.
The portraits were taken at the beautiful Restaurant Collette attached to the Hotel. The ceremony and cocktail took place on the rooftop of the hotel, with the CN tower and bustling streets of Toronto serving as a gorgeous urban backdrop.
We wish these two and their beautiful daughter nothing but the best. Thank you for having us document this lovely time in your lives!
