Rosecliff Mansion Wedding

By their aesthetic and choice of venue, Emily and Andrew transported us back in time to an era where opulence and elegance were a way of life. We were so privileged to join them for their historic, stunning (STUNNING) Rosecliff Mansion wedding in Newport, Rhode Island. As one of the Gilded Age’s most fabled mansions, Rosecliff is the only one in a row of modern palaces that adorn Bellevue Avenue, that boasts Art Nouveau design (our favourite era of design)- and was even the set of the classic film, The Great Gatsby (1974), and the ballroom scene in True Lies (1994).

A location can really add to the feeling of a wedding (even play a supporting role of sorts on the day), but it can’t compete with the emotion on display on the day itself; the love, joy, and palpable excitement were truly the focus of our attention. Adding to all the beauty was our bride, Emily, who wore the most beautiful Inbal Dror gown, and our groom, Andrew, who looked quite dapper himself, and even wrote and performed a song for her (and pretty much made the whole room cry), during their reception in the grand ballroom.

We get the opportunity to meet some wonderful couples through this job of ours, and we’re just so thankful to have been given the gift of photographing this elegant Newport Rhode Island wedding. Many thanks to our joyful couple, their guests, and to Infinite Events for making our day smooth as silk.
