When Lara and Charlie reached out to us, to photograph their Ricarda’s wedding in downtown Toronto, we were over the moon! These two brought so much love and energy to their engagement session, we pretty much immediately felt like we were in their friend circle. They planned their wedding from afar, with a little help from their vendors, and when all is said and done, created a day that was really about spending as much time with their friends and family as they could.

At their first look, one of their dear friends played a guitar song for them – right after that, the whole (massive!) bridal party ran out for photos, hugs, stories and laughs. When a group of humans is this lovely, candid and easily vulnerable in front of our lens, it makes our jobs that much more joyous! Thank you for letting us capture your love!

Back to their Ricarda’s wedding. After their beautiful and modern ceremony, we ducked out for a few portraits in the streets. The light was perfect. Lara and Charlie were perfectly happy and enthusiastic, we couldn’t have asked for more! Post delicious dinner, we’re off the races with dancing and revelry. From beginning to end – this Ricarda’s wedding was pure joy!
