Prague is just sexy. Best seen under the cover of night, while navigating winding cobblestone streets in a little dress and heels. We fell head over heels in love with this city, and it looks like we’ll be back sooner rather than later. Go to there. Eat. Wear heels. Breathe it all in as you read about a few of our favourite spots in this Prague travel guide.
Prague is an incredible city to get lost in. As a foray into the city, spend day one riding Tram 22 – it will take you all around the city, and give you a quick glance at everything it has to offer. If you’re hoping to take some photos of the Charles Bridge, sunrise is the best time. The bridge is one of the loveliest attractions in the city, and once everyone is up and awake, it can get quite crowded. If you scope out a spot before sunrise, you can get some lovely ’empty’ angles.
Another huge draw of Prague is the food. It was really hard to find a bad meal – whether we opted for fine dining or pub grub, each meal was delicious and worth writing home about. We found a favourite breakfast/coffee shop on the other side of the Charles Bridge called BV Cafe. Their art nouveau interior and delicious flat whites had us returning day in and out. For finer dining, we found ourselves at the Alchymist Hotel, and even though its been months since our dinner there, we still think about our incredible four course meal.
The city offers so much beautiful architecture, public art, and winding streets, its impossible not to feel like you’re in a turn of the century romance film. To see a few more angles of the city, check out this bridal portrait session on the Charles Bridge.
