A Pensione Korakia wedding is one of the loveliest celebrations Palm Springs has to offer. While Palm Springs is a completely unique town in southern California, this little Moroccan inspired hotel +venue is not to be outdone. Old doorways imported from Northern Africa, cacti and vines growing up whitewashed walls and the most unique decor elements fill each room. Nels + Vanessa both came down from San Francisco with their families for their Palm Springs destination wedding.
If you haven’t had a chance to visit this incredible venue – so photogenic, it was practically made for Instagram, we highly urge you to make the trip. Each room is completely unique, with perfectly curated decor throughout. The window light in each little area lends itself so well to stunning and dramatic portraits. The Palm Springs wedding venue has served as a backdrop for a number of fashion shoots, its no surprise it is a favourite of the most discerning couples throughout North America. Of all the drama, one can’t forget about the beautiful imported doorway, that make for the most romantic of ceremony backdrops. Nels + Vanessa’s planner, Sweet Emilia Jane, also created one of the loveliest red and orange poppy bouquets we’ve ever seen – take a look below for all the bohemian and romantic wedding inspiration.
We were so happy they asked us to join them to document this beautiful moment in their lives. Dinner was served under moonlight and stars while these two love birds danced the night away.
“Korakia Pensione offers an intimate and dramatic setting for your destination wedding. Imagine an outdoor wedding amidst candle lit walkways, jasmine scented air, and stunning views of the San Jacinto Mountains.”
