We’re very pleased to share some moody wedding portraits we recently had published in The Lane. We just got back from our cross-continent drive (Los Angeles to Ottawa) and we were itching to shoot. Spring time in Ottawa admittedly isn’t always the most picturesque time to shoot, but we love finding new nooks and crannies in our hometown to point our lenses at.
We drove down to the Quebec side of the river, and waited well into the sunset hours to photograph our bride by the water. We love these moody wedding portraits – there’s something really dramatic and romantic but this last little bit of light. Her BCBG runway gown was the perfect geometric juxtaposition to the flowing tree line. These were photographed on both our Canon MK III and our Contax 645 with a PhaseOne back.
Thank you to our wonderful team for their beautiful work on this one!
