We’re really happy to share Anna and Brook’s beautiful Horticulture Building Ottawa wedding with you. One of the city’s newest event spaces, filled with lots of natural light and an abundance of lovely space for portraits. The wedding was beautifully planned and designed by Julie (Chic Wedding Planners) and Erin (Full Bloom Floral). We had the pleasure of getting to know Anna and Brook over the course of the summer, and photographed them in one of our favourite engagement sessions to date.
Their day was full of opulent yet classic touches, we especially loved the little bits of gold and fig throughout their reception decor. Tall, tapered candles lit up their friends and families faces beautifully – we couldn’t have directed the lighting better, had we planned it ourselves! Coincidentally enough, for our own wedding, Anna wore the exact gown + shoe combo I (Justyna) was about to wear myself! Great minds think alike, and apparently have similar taste. Apart from the perfect autumn weather, we were graced with the most stunning sunset – pink, light blue and lilac filled the sky above this iconic Ottawa building.
