This French Estate wedding might be one of our favorite events to date. It wasn’t the decor, or the location, or anything over the top. For Therese and Chris, their wedding day was more than just their lives coming together. It was about their gratitude, and love for both each other and their friends and family. For example, instead of wedding favors, Therese hand-wrote a personal note thanking each and every one of her guests for coming (including us – we were beyond touched to receive one). There was certainly no pomp or circumstance at the ceremony either. Therese and Chris personally greeted all of their guests as they arrived, and when it was time to say their vows, they simply appeared before their guests. No special music. No grand entrance. And yet, it was so romantic, sentimental, and not a dry eye in the house either. The food and cocktail hour had much the same appeal. Burgers with Fries and a couple of signature cocktails. Simple, clear, and true. It was a delight to share their vision and love that day.
This French Estate wedding came to an end as the DJ wrapped up and the crowd danced under palm trees and starlight.
