It was a great pleasure to accept the honor of photographing Camille & Jean-Gabriel’s Evermore wedding which took place just outside of Ottawa in Almonte, Ontario. We met these two warm, gracious people back in June when we photographed their engagement session. They had incredible energy then, and even more so on their wedding day. Impeccably-designed by Tami Varma, Camille & Jean-Gabriel’s elegant country wedding was a joy to photograph; their family and friends mirroring their joy only added to the excitement. It’s a real pleasure to spend the day with a couple who set it up so that we, as photographers, can knock it down – so to speak; wonderfully expressive and unguarded in front of our cameras, these two made photographing the day a total breeze for us.
Locals and astute NHL fans are well-aware, but those reading from out-of-town may not be entirely familiar with #44 on the Ottawa Senators, but JG (as he’s known locally) is a hometown treasure, having grown up in the area and is an integral part of our hockey club. His bride, Camille, is also an Ottawa-area native and, as such, both have a big group of local friends and family who could attend their delightful wedding.
This is about the fifth wedding we’ve shot at Evermore, near Almonte, Ontario, and as always, it played host graciously. We hope you have the opportunity to visit someday.
