A few weeks ago, we met up with Sophie + Cezary in Paris, and photographed their Eiffel Tower engagement session. There is so much of this beautiful city to explore, and golden hour is only so long, so we worked fast to catch as much of this place as we could.
We started at a cafe, with pizza and wine and headed down the Seine. Paris is a city filled with so much light, and most of all, so much life. Lovers lining the banks of the river, arm in arm, strolling about, while young and old sit along the Seine with picnic blankets and wine. It could easily be a Parisian cliche, but it was such a beautiful sight. After walking along the Seine, the four of us quickly scurried through the Jardin des Tuileries. The impeccable grounds are perfectly landscaped, lined with golden and stone statues, more Parisian life on display. Happy children running about with balloons and ice cream from the fun fair, and our lovely couple holding hands in the crowd.
No Parisian engagement session would be complete without a trip to the Eiffel Tower. It’s no surprise that Trocadero was full of happy onlookers and tourists, waiting for the Tower to light up. We found one little (somewhat) open corner for some barefoot dancing, and watched the city light up at dusk. We ended the evening on the banks of the Seine again, and just like in a movie, these two danced away while a violinist played music, with the Tower lit up like a champagne flute. This Eiffel Tower engagement session is one we won’t soon forget.
