All Saints Wedding Ottawa

We were so excited to work with Elise from Toast Events on this gorgeous New Years All Saints Wedding in Ottawa. If you haven’t visited the nations capital in the dead of winter, we assure you, its cold. New Years Eve 2017 was no exception – we worked in -30C weather, and were a bit limited with what we could do outdoors. Luckily, All Saints provides some gorgeous, antique, heritage spaces that boast the most beautiful light.

Elise transformed the space from ceremony to dinner with a lovely cocktail reception in the lower area. The light for the ceremony was beyond perfect – golden hour flooded in from the massive stained glass window, illuminating Kat + Ramzi perfectly. After a quick (very quick) sparkler exit outside, our lovely couple was swarmed with love during cocktails. Elise created a beautiful and warm environment using red florals, gold and brass details and lit up by a stunning variety of candle and twinkle light. All Saints was absolutely transformed into a magical and cozy winter escape. It was east to forget about the bone-chilling cold just beyond the cathedral doors.

We danced the night away, and at the stroke of midnight, in the warmth of All Saints, Kat and Ramzi’s guests laughed, danced and cheered in the New Year. Not even the most arctic of temperatures stopped the party! We’ve shot a few weddings here, but this might be our favourite All Saints wedding Ottawa to date!
