Lane and Travis had such the perfect Thunderbird Country Club wedding day. Everything from the setting (mid-century modern in Palm Springs) to the weather (nary a cloud in the sky) to the music (I SWEAR the lead singer of their band is Axl Rose’s long lost twin brother) was the perfect mix of everything you want out of California.
They chose to exchange vows at the Thunderbird Country Club, a place close to Lane’s heart. Every momentus family occasion had been celebrated here, and now the happy couple can count their nuptials alongside. We were so happily surprised that this was a mid-century modern afficianados dream come true. The home where Lane got ready was a mix of mid-century modern with a bit of Flintstones in there too. Classic design pieces that never go out of style.
Even though the wedding was in March, the sun was as bright and hot as ever for their afternoon ceremony. For sunset, we took these two around the Thunderbird Country Club and photographed them in some of their favourite locations. Dinner was served under starlight as an epic band got the crowd rowdy and dancing. A Thunderbird Country Club wedding like this is just so beautiful.
