Ronna and Tim chose the most beautiful spot for their celebration. Their Restaurant Beatrice wedding was full of classic, elegant elements, tons of family and friends and most of all, two people in love celebrating one another. We love any chance we get to photograph weddings in Montreal, and this one was no exception. The city offers so many beautiful backdrop options – from the cobblestone streets of Old Montreal to the busy and metropolitan Rue Sherbrooke, everywhere we turned our cameras there was something to photograph!
Have you visited Montreal in May? If you live within the Toronto-Ottawa-Quebec City corridor, you almost certainly have, but if you haven’t, go (unless it’s between November and April – pack a snowsuit and waterproof boots). If you have the extra bonus of attending (or shooting) a wedding there, you’re ‘joie-de-vie’ experience will be maxed-out. Such was the case when we drove up to photograph Ronna & Tim’s lovely wedding. Starting at the always-elegant Ritz Hotel on Sherbrooke street, we moved through Old Montreal for our portrait session, then back to Sherbrooke street at Ristorante Beatrice for a beautiful Jewish ceremony and reception designed by Elyna Kudish. Their elegant dinner was a candle lit affair, with beautiful white orchids adding a touch of romance. The night ended with an open dance floor – the horah, jubilation and celebrating – even a guests King Charles Spaniel made an appearance. As bow ties loosened, and a full moon rose over their venue, their Restaurant Beatrice wedding came to an end.
